The sixth chapter of the novel “The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian” written by Sherman Alexie and published in September 2007 is about Junior who wants to transfer school at the rezervation where he lives and wants to go to another school in Reardan.

At first he talks to his teacher who advices him to change school and go to one out of the rezervation because he wants him to find hope anywhere else. After that he thinks about it and talks to his parents about going to another school. When he tells his parents that he wants to tranfsfer school and wants to go to the Reardan highschool they are shocked but don´t rent him to do it. His parents tries to convince him to wait until next year  and taell him about the consequences when he go but Junior wants to go at the next day because he thinks he won´t go if he doesn´t go in that moment.
